The Daily Mirror has given a high rating to Malta's Eurovision entry Tomorrow although it notes similarities with other songs.
"Gianluca (Bezzina) lists Noah and the Whale as one of his influences - and it sounds like composers Boris Cezek and Dean Muscat may be fans too," the newspaper says.
"That ukelele opening sounds intensely familiar, with echoes perhaps of Train's Hey Soul Sister or Of Monsters and Men's Little Talks. But it is Noah and the Whale's 5 Years Time it most closely resembles.
"But imitation, sorry, inspiration worked last year for Sweden (it still takes a degree of concentration to work out whether it's Loreen's Euphoria or David Guetta's Titanium when it starts) so you can't blame Malta for giving it a go.
"Ukeleles are definitely enjoying a cool phase and Tomorrow is enjoyably cheery and upbeat, if perhaps a bit slight.
"It works well in a summery sunshiney video but how well will it come over on the big stage?" the newspaper asks.
