Valletta market extended to Sundays

An agreement has been reached for the Valletta daily market to be extended to Sundays, the Small Businesses Ministry said. It said in a statement that as a result of the agreement, the Valletta market in Merchants' and Old Theatre Streets will set up daily from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. as from next Sunday. The minister said that through this agreement, more life would be instilled into the city. The Sunday market at the Park and Ride will continue to be set up.
