Motorcyclist hit by car after skid

A motorcyclist was hit by a car after he fell off his bike when it skidded in Kalkara this evening. The police said the motorcyclist, a 46-year-old man from Cospicua, was driving a Honda CB 1000SF in Santa Liberata Street. The motorcycle skidded for some distance while the motorcyclist was hit by a car driven by a 46-year-old woman from Zurrieq. The man is being treated in hospital.
