Gozo ferry 'brushes' quay

Gozo Channel this evening confirmed an incident which took place in the afternoon when one of its ferries, the Gaudos, hit a quay at Mgarr while berthing. It said the ferry brushed against the quay and scraped away some of its paint.  At no time was the safety of the passengers on board or on the quay at risk. The company apologised for the incident and said it would take the necessary measures to ensure there is no repetition.
