Woman, 56, critically injured in Paola crash

A 56-year-old woman from Ghaxaq was critically injured in a crash in Paola this afternoon. The incident took place at 4.20 p.m. in Vjal Santa Luċija and involved a Toyota Corolla and an Erf 3 Axle. The Corolla, which was driven by the woman, also crashed into a wall. A 52-year-old man from Fgura who was driving the other vehicle was not injured. Magistrate Doreen Clarke is holding an inquiry.
