Man arrested after he is caught stealing bronze bust

A 24-year-old man from Żabbar has been arrested by the police after he was caught stealing a bronze bust from Msida. The police said on Friday that while on the beat in Msida at 1am, they noted two men placing the bust in a basket. The men escaped as the police approached them but the 24-year-old was caught later. They said it appeared the bust was stolen from near the Workers’ Monument.
