Jason Micallef 'moving on'

Jason Micallef, chairman of Labour's media company and former general secretary of the party, announced this evening that the time had come for him to move on, but gave no further details. In a facebook post he said the time had come for him to start on a new path. He thanked those 'traditional labourites' like him who had worked with him at a time when others around them were pulling the rope in another direction. He said his heart would remain with them and he remained bound to the Labour principles which he always proudly proclaimed. Mr Micallef unsuccessfully contested the last general election.
