20:21 pm : Dr Muscat insists that several programmes launched in the November Budget speech did not have funds allocated to them. That showed how right the then Opposition was in voting against it, because that was not a serious exercise.
20:20 pm : On the President's Address, Dr Muscat said that on Saturday he had expected far better from the Leader of the Opposition. His objections were to be expected, but it was pointless of Dr Gonzi to have trumpeted the fact that he agreed to attend the Freedom Day ceremony. He (Dr Muscat) was never invited to attend the Independence Day commemoration by the former government. He would have attended had he been invited.
