Chris Said confirms bid to become PN general secretary

Former Justice Minister Chris Said has confirmed he will contest the post of Nationalist Party general secretary.   He told The Sunday Times he wanted to reorganise the party and begin a reaching out process, starting with party members and sectional committees and moving on to civil society and the rest of the country. Pledging to work with whoever is chosen for the leadership positions, Dr Said said he had the necessary energy and dedication for the job.  Lija mayor Ian Castaldi Paris has also confirmed his intention to contest the post.
