Heroin, cocaine and weapons found in Qormi

Cocaine, heroin and weapons were among the illegal items police found when they raided a Qormi house and garage on Saturday.  Drug Squad members who burst into the property also found cannabis and cannabis resin, electronic weighing scales, ziploc bags and other suspected drug paraphernalia, as well as an undisclosed amount of cash during the search.  Two men and one woman aged between 23 and 35 were arrested as part of the operation. The three hail from Qormi, Floriana and St Julians. Magistrate Natasha Galea Sciberras is leading an inquiry into the case.
