Electrogas plant catered for half of Malta's energy needs between May and October

The new Electrogas power station generated electricity for just over half of Malta's energy needs between May and October. Energy Minister Joe Mizzi told Marlene Farrugia (PD) in reply to a parliamentary question on Monday that between May 1 and October 30, Delimara IV (Electrogas) produced 53% of the power needs, the interconnector supplied 27% and Delimara III (BWSC) 20%.
