Musician ‘il-Puse’ dies aged 90

A musician from Malta’s wartime years, Joe Curmi known as ‘il-Puse’, has died aged 90. The Valletta icon was well known as an entertainer at Strait Street and also played with the National Orchestra. His death was flagged by his son George, a violinist, who has been given the same nickname, on Facebook.
