Explosives, weapons found in Zejtun garage

The police are continuing their investigations after finding explosive material and unlicensed weapons in a garage used by a mechanic in Zejtun. The discovery was made earlier this afternoon as the police continued investigations into reports that a bomb was being put together. Members of the army Bomb Disposal Unit were on the scene. A sniffer dog was also used. Magistrate Consuelo Scerri-Herrera is leading an inquiry
