Updated: Man dies in traffic accident

A man died in a traffic accident at Mdina Road, Zebbug, this afternoon. The 83-year-old man, from Birkirkara, fainted and lost control of his dark purple Mitsubishi Pajero Jr. He went up the central strip and crashed first into an electricity pole at around 3.30pm. The accident happened near the Hunter's Lodge. An inquiry is being held by Magistrate Audrey Demicoli.
