Baby boy seriously hurt as car crashes into parked bus

A one-year-old boy was rushed to hospital this morning after he was seriously injured in a traffic accident in Żabbar.   The accident happened at around 8.20am when a 20-year-old Birżebbuġa resident lost control of his Toyota IQ and crashed into a bus parked on Triq il-Kunsill ta' l-Ewropa. The child was also in the car.  An ambulance rushed the toddler to Mater Dei hospital, where medics confirmed that he is seriously injured.  Police say they are investigating further.
