Boy hit by car in Marsa

A 16-year-old boy from Zejtun was hit by a car as he crossed busy Aldo Moro Road in Marsa this evening. The incident happened at about 8.30 p.m. when the boy was hit by a Toyota Starlet, whose windscreen was smashed. The car was being driven by a man aged 30 from Vittoriosa The boy was rushed to hospital. His condition was described as serious. A man who was crossing the road with the boy was not injured..
