Foreign student hit by bus

A foreign student was seriously injured last night when she was hit by a bus while crossing the Birkirkara bypass in Tal-Qroqq. The police said the student was a 25-year-old French woman. The bus was driven by a 45-year-old man from Sliema. Neighbours said the place where the accident happened, close to a pastizzeria, is an accident black spot.
