Update 2 - Man shot dead at Hal Far

A 65-year-old Birkirkara businessman was shot dead at Hal Far industrial estate close to Ghar Hasan this afternoon. The incident happened at about 4.30 p.m. According to preliminary reports, the man, Ronald Galea, was shot between five and nine times outside a meat processing factory which he owns. The body was found on the ground behind a Ford Mondeo car. Senior police officers, including officials of the Homicide Squad, are on the scene, along with forensic experts.
