Former Labour deputy leader Anġlu Farrugia has refused to say whether bridges have been mended with Joseph Muscat, while confirming he has accepted to represent the party at a Commonwealth conference in the Falklands.
“I never had any problems with the Labour Party. My problem was with Joseph Muscat,” he said when contacted.
Dr Muscat yesterday said he wanted to convey heartfelt thanks to his friend Dr Farrugia for having accepted to represent the party.
The participation list for the conference, including Dr Farrugia’s name, was first announced in January.
Jesmond Mugliett will represent the PN.
