Homeless Palestinian jailed

A 24-year-old Palestinian man, Khalid Ali Omar, was today jailed for a year after admitting in court to stealing alcohol, harassing a woman, being drunk and living a vagabond life. He also admitted relapsing and causing damage of €23 The incidents happened two days ago at Wied iz-Zurrieq. Inspector K Pulis prosecuted.
