Woman dies in Paola traffic accident

A 61-year-old woman died this morning when she was run over by a Ford Transit in Paola. The incident happened at about 6.15 a.m. as the woman, who is from Paola, was crossing Paola Hill Road, which was wet at the time. The van was being driven by a 39-year-old man from Qormi. A Magisterial inquiry in underway.
