After the window for electoral nominations closed last night,the Nationalist Party is fielding 70 candidates, 36 of whom are contesting two districts, Labour has 89 candidates, 53 standing on two districts each, and Alternattiva Demoraktika has eight candidates, contesting all districts. In District 2 there is a candidate for Partit Ajkla, in Districts 2 and 6 one for Alleanza Liberali, and an independant is contesting 2 and 9.
