Film role for Alfred Sant

Former Prime Minister Alfred Sant is starring in a film entitled Sant Sant, according to a teaser trailer that appeared online today. “Sant Sant is a short film directed by Dustin Cauchi starring writer and politician Alfred Sant,” says the trailer’s description. In the teaser, Dr Sant, who intends standing for the 2014 MEP elections, is seen staring into the distance with birds chirping in the background. Dr Sant led the Malta Labour Party between 1992 and 2008, serving as Prime Minister between 1996 and 1998. He is also a prolific author who has written novels, short stories, plays and other literary works.
