Man pleads not guilty to injuring officers

A 19-year-old Englishman who lives in Qala was granted bail after he pleaded not guilty to slightly injuring and threatening police officers. Matthew Philip Bunting, 19, was also charged with violently resisting the officers and disobeying their orders, breaching the peace, being drunk in public and damaging a car belonging to a woman, who he slightly injured. Mr Bunting pleaded not guilty to dangerously driving a car belonging to a third party without permission and without a licence and insurance, damaging that car, leaving the site of an accident he was involved in, driving at excessive speed and refusing to take a breathalyser test.
