Lawyer complains of defamation

Lawyer (and broadcaster) Joe Mifsud this morning filed an official complaint with the police commissioner following a comment left by Manuel Bonanno on his Facebook wall last Sunday. Dr Mifsud said he was requesting the police to take action against Mr Bonanno for making defamatory allegations. In his comment, Mr Bonanno alleged that Dr Mifsud had been bribed. Such a claim, Dr Mifsud said, was very serious and damaging to his reputation.
