The parents of a child who has been accused, with three others, of bullying another student a year and a half ago, have filed a judicial letter against the parents of the victim, alleging abusive behaviour.
In the incident, at Stella Maris College, the victim was slightly injured when he was tied to a football post with a scarf.
Four boys were charged and while three admitted their involvement, the fourth did not.
The parents of the fourth boy filed their letter, through lawyer Roberto Montalto, claiming that although the victim’s parents knew that their son was not involved and there was no evidence against him, they did not want to drop the charges. This, they said, was abusive.
The lawyer called on the parents to withdraw the case against his client.
