A man reported missing last November was yesterday due to have been charged with drug possession, after cannabis and ecstasy were allegedly found in his Bentley in September 2011, but the case was put off until he can be traced.
The fact that Terence Gialanze, 24, had gone missing was first brought to light when the police issued a statement asking for information about his whereabouts. This was followed by a second appeal by his sister on Facebook in December.
His black Fiat Cinque Cento had been discovered parked on a street in Qawra a week after he was reported missing.
According to the police, Mr Gialanze was stopped on September 26, 2011 driving his white Bentley with number plates pertaining to his BMW X5, which was at his mechanic’s garage being repaired following a car crash. In the car the police allegedly found cannabis and ecstasy.
