Another 'crucified' cat found

Another cat has been found dead and crucified to a piece of wood in Mosta. The macabre discovery was made this morning on the railings near the main door of a primary school. The police kept school children well away from the scene. This was the latest in a series of such gruesome acts, most of which took place on or around the 16th day of the month.  Six dead cats and dogs have been found crucified in Mosta since October 16, 2011 when a cat was found crucified on the door of the former residence of Franġisku Buhagiar, who had been accused in court of murdering his sister. The last case was on December 16 when a cat was found dead near the statue of St Joseph in Main Street. On February 10 last year a cat was found crucified and hanging upside down from a cross in Baskal Buhagiar Street. Another cat was discovered crucified in Mosta on January 17 last year. It had been found hanging to the gate of a chapel in Triq San Anton Abbati. On  November 16 2011, a Chihuahua cross-breed was found crucified on the gates of the oratory of the Sacred Heart.
