Two seriously injured in head-on crash

A motorcyclist and a passenger in a car were seriously injured this afternoon in a head-on crash in Pembroke. The crash took place at St Andrews Road at about 1.35 p.m. It involved a BMW motorcycle driven by a 59-year-old Italian and a Toyota Vitz driven by a 26-year-old man from Qormi who was accompanied by a 25-year-old woman, also from Qormi. A magisterial inquiry is underway.
