The police are holding a man who this morning was acting suspiciously in Pjazza Sant’ Antnin, Paola.
They said in a statement that two policemen saw a man going round a parked Peugeot 106 at a parking area in the square.
As soon as he saw the police he left the area. The police followed him and found him going round another parked car.
The police said the Peugeot was damaged.
