No gas leak in Marsa in spite of strong odours

Civil Protection fire engines are surrounding the Easygas factory in Marsa following reports from several localities in the vicinity of a strong gas odour. A spokesman said that four units from the Hal Far and Corradino sections were in the area as a precaution but their readers had established that there were no gas leaks. Officers are carrying out further checks in the factory as a precaution. The roads in the area have been closed.
