Daughter plans to donate money collected to bring photographer's body home to Puttinu Cares

The daughter of the DOI photographer who passed away while on holiday in Croatia on July 23 plans to donate the sum collected to bring her father's body to Malta to Puttinu Cares if the travel insurance claim was successful. Martin Attard's body is being brought to Malta tomorrow afternoon. His death sent shockwaves in the media world leaving his colleagues stunned at the news. Desiree Attard on Saturday appealed for help to put together €4,000 to bring the body to Malta. Ms Attard wrote today “A massive thank you to everyone for your support. This thanks goes to all the people who have donated and showed their support in other heart-warming ways, to Malta International Airport who offered to sponsor my and my sister's flights to Malta to be with our family at this time of grief, and to the Malta Community Chest Fund and the Maltese government who are helping with other proceedings.”
