Horse put down after damaging cars in Xewkija

A horse had to be put down in Gozo yesterday after it bolted and damaged two cars just before the Xewkija feast race. The incident happened at 5.10pm in Triq l-Imgarr triq il-Gdida. The police said the horse bolted, threw off its sulky rider and ran into the parked cars, damaging two.
