Man jailed six years for jewellery store hold-up

A 43-year-old man from St Paul's Bay has been jailed six years for last Thursday's hold-up on Super Gold Jewellery of Pioneers Road, Bugibba. Joseph Camilleri stole more than €2,300 worth of jewellery. He also pleaded  guilty of holding the salesgirl against her will, of being in possession of a weapon without the necessary police licence and of breaching bail.
